about us

Ozim Platform public fund was established on January 27, 2022. We started our activity with the development of a mobile app "Ozim Platform" for parents of children with special needs. We are bringing together researchers in the field of inclusion, experts in educational and medical correction, and specialists in early intervention to raise awareness among parents.

Ozim Platform has the international status of DPG - Digital Public Goods from the United Nations.

Digital Public Goods are software products, resources, data and knowledge that are freely available to society and contribute to the growth and well-being of all citizens. The project is aimed at public recognition of the accessibility of facilities for children and persons with disabilities to improve the quality of life, well-being and active participation and involvement of the population.

Ozim Platform is a mobile application for smartphones based on iOS and Android, aimed at information and educational support for parents and guardians of children with special needs.

This project was implemented with the help of the Nazarbayev University Social Development Fund.

Steppe Women Awards 2023

On November 2nd in Almaty, the Ozim Platform team received nomination in the Steppe Women category, presented by the online journal Steppe with the support of the Cartier Women's Initiative. This award is bestowed upon women entrepreneurs implementing projects with a broad social impact. The Ozim Platform project was selected from among more than 100 participants.

Digital Bridge Awards 2023

At the largest IT forum in Central Asia, Digital Bridge 2023, the Ozim Platform project received a nomination in the Tech for Good category, recognizing its use of technology for the benefit of society. A total of 337 applications from Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Singapore, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Russia, Uzbekistan, and the USA were submitted for participation in the Digital Bridge Awards.

Women's Entrepreneurship EXPO 2023

The "Women's Entrepreneurship Satellite 2023" exhibition in Astana, organized by "UN Women," allowed more than 60 women entrepreneurs to exchange experiences and knowledge at the event in the format of a pitch competition. Such an event took place for the first time, and the Ozim Platform team actively participated in presenting their project.

Mobile app launch

We held an official mobile app presentation on November 8, 2021 in Astana Hub. We invited early intervention specialists, public funds, parents, and representatives of the IT industry to the event. The audience saw the project's development from an idea to a product. and shared valuable feedback with the team

Hackathon 2022

Three months after the launch of the mobile app, we held the Ozim Platform Hackaton, where IT developers together with parents of children with special needs, offered their ideas for improving the product and its monetization

Special Families Photo Shoot

We invited entire families to the photo session. Every person is unique and our photo day showed how wonderful it is. After our photo day, many mothers began speaking and writing more openly about their children’s special needs. Such events help to spread knowledge and support for diversity in our community
